Today we kicked started the week with a H&S Briefing on Working at Height. Our independent H&S Advisor prepared a Guidance note for us to deliver to the staff which was well received at this mornings session.

H & S Training

Due to the work undertaken by our staff, they regularly use ladders, mobile platforms and temporary scaffolding therefore it is very important that we provide regular training and refresher sessions to, even the most experienced staff.

Every job we undertake and every site we visit we make sure a Risk Assessment is completed by the lead technician or Project Manager. This allows any risks identified to be dealt with timeously and shared with any other visitors to the site.

The Risk Assessment is uploaded onto our computer system immediately on the Technician/Manager syncing their IPAD therefore no time is lost in passing on the relevant information.

As we always strive to be compliant with all our customers’ Health & Safety standards, we have achieved accreditation from Safecontractor, CHAS and Constructionline.

There is an annual requirement to re-apply for accreditation with these agencies which helps us ensure we remain compliant with H&S Legislation.
